Hi I was a carer for John for several years to his last day . I remember the first day and I thought gosh he's a right so and so as he wanted things done his way and he grumbled and shouted at me if I got it wrong but I got him in the end and to see his warm cheeky smile I will remember him always xx God bless you John xx fly high as high as them bombers you flied xxx rest in peace xx

I had the privilege of knowing John for more than 50 years and spent many happy times with him whenever I visited. I feel grateful to have been part of his “extended” family.
